San Marino MotoGP this weekend will be mat emotional for San Carlo Honda Gresini team. Renaming Misano circuit will be the memory of the late Marco Simoncelli.
Simoncelli is a team rider for a career in MotoGP, suffered a terrible accident that took his life at the Sepang Circuit, Malaysia, October 23, 2011. "This weekend will be full of emotion," said team principal Fausto Gresini. "Misano is always a special series for our racing department headquarters is not far from the circuit, but this time will be very different."
Now the Misano circuit having renaming to 'Marco Simoncelli Misano World Circuit'. During his life, he lived in Coriano not far from the circuit.

While Michele Pirro will ride the FTR-Honda Gresini team's CRT. He was the winner of the final Moto2 Valencia last season with the same team. The win was the team's greatest gift after losing Simoncelli.

MotoGP this weekend will also commemorate Shoya Tomizawa who died at the circuit in 2010 Moto2 title. The main road is also called the Misano Circuit Daijiro Kato. Kato is the Gresini team rider who died at Suzuka Circuit, Japan, in 2003.
